The wood shop is divided into primary areas as described below. Find the SHOP MAP HERE . A hard copy of the shop map may also be found in the coffee room on the bulletin board. You can use the shop computer or your own devices to search for tools without the need to login to your account-just go the non-logged in menu, select Resources and Tools and that link will bring you to this page without having to login.
Tool Search

Sanding Room – Back room with sanding table, sharpening, oscillating sander, 22″ drum sander, horizontal belt sanders, vertical and 12″ disc sanders, edge sander dovetail jigs, toy saw etc.
Lathe Room (F02) – Lathes, pen lathes, band saw #4, sanding table, router tables, chop saws, vertical and disk sanders, monitor’s station, first aid supplies
Maintenance Room Lockup (F03) – (Maintenance team access and use only)
Saw Room (F04) – Band saws #1,2,3,5, table saws, mortiser, radial arm saw, small 1/8″ band saw, arbor presses, drill presses, portable tool storage on shelves (T04) for skilsaw, sawzall, routers, scroll saw, some jigs for table saws
Jointer Room (F05) – jointer, thickness planer, bowl presses, some table saw jigs (no mesquite permitted in Jointer Room)
Bench Room 1 (F06) – layout bench area, hand tools, bits & drills (T01), shop library (C25), shop supplies – pneumatic guns, nails & staples, kreg screws (T02 & L7),Tool Sign Out (M1-M5 by monitor station) glue cabinet (T02), etc. Bench Room 1 is on the west side of the shop – coffee room is at the end of this room.
Coffee Room (F06) – stuff is in lockers. Some are locked and reserved for storage and maintenance (not accessible to members), other lockers are accessible to members
Bench Room 2 (F07) – layout bench area, clamps (T03), Toy Room. This bench room is on the east side of the building with an exit door to the south and the patio.
Patio 1 – area for machining and sanding; De Walt portable thickness planer & Jet jointer (for mesquite etc)
Patio 2 – area for finishing (no sanding permitted), track saw use
