How to Join The Woodworkers Club!
- Step 1: Any GVR Member can register on the WWGVR website with a valid GVR#, a valid email address, and acceptance of the club’s “Terms of Service”. The GVR# becomes your username to login. Go to JOIN to start the process.
- Step 2: Once registered on the website, the GVR Member must LOGIN to the website and complete the “Update Your Profile” page (contact info) to become an Associate. The “Update Your Profile” page is found under the “Your Portals” drop-down menu.
- Step 3: AFTER completion of the Update Your Profile page, Associates may only login to the WWGVR website in order to learn about the club and MAY sign up to receive monthly club newsletters.
- Step 4: Only Associates may sign up for Orientation class to pursue Full Membership status.
SECOND – Become a Full Member!
- Step 1: Associate registers via the club website for an Orientation & Safety Training Class.
- Step 2: Associate completes the prerequisites for Orientation & Safety Training.
- Step 3: Associate completes the Orientation & Safety Training Class.
- Step 4: Associate pays membership dues on the last night of Orientation & Safety Training Class:
- Jan – Jun: Full membership ($40) plus badge fee ($5).
- Jul – Dec: $5 per month plus Full Membership dues for next year ($40) plus badge fee ($5).
Enjoy the Club
1. Associate – Any GVR member in good standing can join/register for Free on the WWGVR website to become an Associate. Associates enjoy website access ONLY…no use of wood shop! JOIN Now. May sign-Up for monthly newsletters after login.
2. Full Membership – Any registered Associate can upgrade to a Full Membership by completing Orientation & Safety Training and paying dues to gain wood shop access. May sign-Up for monthly newsletters after login.
Features!
Associate
- Gains access to all areas of the WWGVR website in order to learn about the club and may sign-Up for monthly newsletters after login.
- Associates may only sign up for Orientation & Safety Training.
- Associates will NOT be able to login to use the wood shop.
- Associate registration expires at end of year, but can be renewed.
- An Associate can upgrade to Full Membership by completing Orientation & Safety Training and paying dues.
Full Membership
- Full Members may register or sign-up for any events on the Full Membership calendars.
- A Full Member will be able to login to use the wood shop.
- A Full Member can rent drawers and lockers, if available.
- Membership expires at end of year, but can be renewed with payment of membership dues and any fees.
GVR Membership Validation
The Woodworkers of GVR support the GVR policy of “Membership Matters” by validating someone’s membership in GVR and the Woodworkers of GVR club during “scan in” at the club wood shop.
